Jamie Pang

Jamie Pang is a Senior Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group of Cavenagh Law LLP.

Jamie has acted in Singapore litigation proceedings, as well as in international arbitration matters.
Prior to joining Cavenagh Law LLP, Jamie was a Deputy Public Prosecutor / State Counsel with the Attorney-General's Chambers, Singapore.

Jamie graduated from the University of Oxford with First Class Honours (Wronker Prize (Proxime Accessit)), and also holds a Masters of Laws degree from Stanford Law School.

In respect of contentious matters:

  • Acting for and advising major pension fund in relation to an investment in Asia in excess of €500 million.
  • Acting for global multinational corporation in a construction and oilfield related dispute involving claims in excess of US$200 million.
  • Acting for subsidiaries of a major Indonesian conglomerate in a coal related disputes involving claims in excess of US$ 100 million.
  • Acting for and advising one of the largest Japanese multi-national companies in a coal related dispute involving claims in excess of US$60 million.
  • Acted on behalf of Vietnamese authorities to enforce a Foreign Confiscation Order in respect of Singapore properties under the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act (prior to joining Cavanagh Law LLP).

In respect of regulatory and other advisory work:

  • Advising major US bank in multi-jurisdictional fraud spanning Europe, Indonesia, India and Hong Kong.
  • Advising Asian subsidiaries of Swiss multi-national company on data protection policies and procedures.
  • Advising private equity fund on cross-border anti-bribery matters.
  • Advising global investment firm / multi-national corporations on Singapore employment matters.
